Fairfield Court

2020 – 4 months – £150,000

Fairfield Court is a property that EQUANS was having refurbished into mini-apartments and bedsits for elderly and infirm residents. We were instructed to install new windows in all of the apartments, taking care to choose units that offered specific benefits to the types of residents Fairfield Court would be catering for.

This included windows that could be easily opened by tenants with mobility issues, reduced upper-body strength, and other infirmities. We supplied windows that opened from the bottom edge of the frame, rather than the top, with handles situated lower down for easy access and operation by the residents. These windows included all essential security measures, so that tenants could feel safe in their own bedsit / apartment.
